Holy Cross is proud of the 22 students who graduated from Preschool. They have all done very well and we look forward to them returning as Infant I students in the new school year.
There’s no doubt that the Preschool graduation is the cutest graduation of the year, with the graduates wearing proper caps and gowns over pretty dresses, or white shirts with bow-tie. But despite their young age, these students put on a wonderful graduation service, even delivering the opening prayer, welcome address and vote of thanks themselves!
Families were also dressed in their finest clothes, as they came to support the young graduates. Thank you, parents, for all the many hours you have put in to support your children’s learning.
Teacher Albina Moralazes, with assistant Jackelien Vasquez taught these students well throughout the year. Teacher Albina brings with her over 40 years of teaching young students on the mainland, and her focus of teaching the why – and not just the how – of learning has produced a strong group of students ready to learn.
Assistant teacher Jackelein is a graduate of Holy Cross and we are proud to have her back as one of the first of our graduates returning in a teaching capacity.
